For the price of one fancy dinner out for two, you can eat delicious King Grove Real Organic Blueberries all year round. And the health benefits are retained even after freezing! It takes only a small handful each day (~1/3 cup) to provide significant health benefits. (At 1/3 cup/day, this 20-pound box will last one person approximately 6 months.)
These are nothing like supermarket frozen organic blueberries. Those are mostly hydroponic from Central or South America or domestic, machine-harvested varieties.
King Grove frozen blueberries are the exact same blueberries, from the same plants; harvested and sorted with the same care and quality standards as the ones we sell fresh. We take a percentage of the berries we pick each year, put them in special freezer bags, and flash freeze them at -10F. This quick freezing ensures that each individual berry is perfectly frozen, with no clumping. (This is different than the liquid nitrogen process used by the industrial scale farms.)
All the sorting and packaging is done right here on our farm and we ship direct to you via UPS. We use dry ice to keep the blueberries frozen in transit with the most environmentally responsible and effective packaging available.
FLORIDA orders are shipped via UPS Ground service; NATIONWIDE orders are shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air service. UPS Next Day Air is also available.
